DESSERTS
Aztec Hot Chocolate
The Aztecs referred to chocolate "nourishment of the Gods". Chocolate contains chemicals thought to effect neurotransmitters in the brain and a related substance to caffeine called Theobromine. Using this as dessert is a decadent and unique way of serving chocolate and it will definitely get you in a cozy mood! For presentation, Tavola has the cutest Café & Spoon set- it’s the perfect finishing touch!
HERO INGREDIENT
Chili Flakes
Japanese samurai used chili peppers in order to reduce the amount of fear they felt: eating them as part of a ritual meal before battles made them feel invincible. Even those who practice karate often eat them before a fight.
